Count Down Begins.....

Today on the 1st of September 2010 the count down to my trip has begun. I have 1 month 2 weeks and 6 days to go til I depart Australia. 

This month also marks our country- Papua New Guinea's 35th Anniversary. 

Papua New Guinea the land of opportunity and the land of the 'unexpected' has come a long way since its independence in 1975. As a developing nation struggling to meet the expectations of the Western world, the country is slowly rising towards better infrastructure and development.  I must say on a personal view, that we are getting there!!! Slowly but surely!.
