This year 2011 I had a lot of spare time and decided to return to Papua New Guinea to look after my grandmother. I realise that this beautiful strong woman has lived to see so many milestone this country has faced pre WWII and post WWII.
She talks about the time she met Queen Elizabeth in 1977, about her tale as a young girl in Nondugl, how she met my granfather and became a mother to five. This strong woman worked her whole life, she is one to never sit still, and I guess I know where I get the travelling bug from...
